The common area was incredibly charming and felt like a cozy community space with comfy seating and a lovely atmosphere.
The check-in process was somewhat confusing as it required visiting a different hotel to complete the procedure.

absolutely loved the charm, but no private balcony was a huge letdown. also, the shampoo packs made my hair feel like straw, not ideal for a 'luxury' stay. wasn't even offered an upgrade for my troubles, how rude. almost considered a good review until these issues ruined my experience, but I just couldn’t.

My stay at Charming Palace Santa Fosca was excellent. The suite was well-appointed with stunning views of the canal, allowing for a delightful ambiance. With its close proximity to local restaurants, I enjoyed the convenience of easy access to great dining options. The bar next door offered amazing tapas and a lively atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience.
No private balcony was available, which was a slight disappointment.

beautiful Venetian room, amazing canal view, charming common area
No private balcony in rooms!!! Terrible shampoo packs that left hair stringy!!! Poor Wi-Fi connection experienced throughout the stay!!! The nearby amenities, while abundant, don't make up for the lack of proximity to major attractions!!!

The Deluxe Junior Suite had an amazing canal view. Waking up to gondolas passing by each morning was a highlight. The location was ideally quiet while still being close to cafes and restaurants by the water. Plenty of natural light came through the room's large windows, creating a warm, cheerful atmosphere. The room felt spacious with its lovely chandelier and cozy seating. Enjoyed the common area on each floor with its dining table and piano—it felt like a little community. However, the lack of a private balcony was disappointing since it was advertised differently. Also, the shampoo packs provided were quite subpar, and the Wi-Fi signal fluctuated often. Nonetheless, the hospitality from the staff was commendable, and I appreciated the 24-hour check-in. Overall, I would definitely consider returning for the views and aesthetics of the hotel.

The location was fantastic for exploring Venice, and our kids loved the playful atmosphere as they chased pigeons nearby. We enjoyed the cozy terrace with views of the beautiful canal, which was perfect for morning coffee after checking in at the nearby hotel.
My wife says that it would be great if there were more family-oriented dining options nearby.

Couples seeking romance
We were on the first floor near the canal, and let me tell you, waking up to that view was like a painting come to life! The atmosphere was super homey, and we even enjoyed breakfast at the little café next door where chairs were right by the water!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but considering the experience, it was entirely worth it.

Charming canal views!
Our stay was lovely with a fab view of the canal from our room. It was great to enjoy our morning coffee out on the terrace. The common area felt super homey, with comfy seating. Just a heads-up, some noise from nearby places at night might keep light sleepers awake.

This was just a reliable pick for a weekend escape in Venice with reasonable value. Enjoyed the lovely chandelier in the room that added a nice touch to the space. Be prepared for some noise from nearby restaurants during the evening.
